It came home twice for Vertical Future last night and we are still beaming from having won not just one, but two awards!
We were awarded:
‘Best Yield Improvement’ – where we have seen a 24% increase in energy conversion efficiency for whole head lettuce production.
Best Farm Design Innovation’ – which we won thanks to a process we have termed intermittent
nutrient film technique (iNFT) ensuring ease of system maintenance, improvement of farm hygiene, as well as supporting nutrient and water recycling.
