Vertical Future’s Chief Research Officer Dr Jen Bromley and Senior Plant Scientist Dr Jim Stevens present Innovate UK-Funded Chronoculture research at the HortQFL-AAB Kick-off Meeting!

The two-day event, hosted at the University of Cranfield, with the final day taking place today, celebrates the success of recently-funded research and explores cutting-edge opportunities to move the field forward. Attendees are hearing talks from grant awardees, international keynote speakers, and a selection of academics within the sector.

Chronoculture extends the use of the circadian clock in agriculture, where the timing of events like flowering is important for the growth and survival of plants in both natural and indoor environments, thus being an incredibly important tool to help make food production more sustainable.
