Superb long term partnerships are being forged supporting the development of technologies for application in space and on Earth.
Vertical Future is so pleased to be partnering with University of Adelaide, University of Cambridge, Axiom Space, and Saber Astronautics as well as NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration, University of Southern Queensland, and our ARC Centre of Excellence in Plants for Space partners to drive innovation in this space.
So far they have explored production vs research needs on board LEO spacecraft and learned about technological advancements made and still needed to enable fresh food provision to astronauts.
They also had an excellent tour of the facility from their wonderful hosts Gioia Massa and Trent M. Smith taking in some historic parts of the complex as well as seeing ground experiments to support and mirror those ongoing on #ISS.
